This is an amazing genuine natural Barguzin Russian Sable fur coat in new condition, having never been worn, and was purchased in December of 2008. It has a Phil. M. Stupp Furs label, is in the luxurious ankle length, and features a very full shawl collar and very full, billowy sleeves ending in bracelet cuffs. The sleeve openings are a very full 14" in diameter. It has two-velvet lined exterior pockets. The lining is solid dark brown and there is NO MONOGRAM. It has an open design (no closures). There was no scrimping when they made this coat - there is a full 3" of fur on the inside of the closure edge as well as 3" of fur up inside the sleeve ends and it is constructed of nice, wide sable pelts - very high quality!
Barguzin sable are the finest sable pelts and in the past were reserved for the Czar and his family (which is why it is also called Imperial sable or Crown sable). There are many silvery tips which is one indication of very high quality sable. Your purchase will be accompanied by a copy of an appraisal showing the appraised value to be $60,000. This Russian sable coat is just spectacular! When you want the best of the best, this is the coat for you!
